Whats going on in Swanage?
Throughout the year there is always something to do and see in and around Swanage.
Music Festivals, Swanage Railway Regattas, Regatta and Carnival, Seafood Festival, Pirate Festival, Purbeck Walking Festival, Purbeck Marathon….there is always something going on.
These are a few of those events that define Swanage and just keep going from strength to strength.

Swanage Railway
Every year there are many events hosted by the Swanage Railway. Steam Galas, Diesel Gala (with a Beer Festival on Corfe Castle station). 2022 (and 2019) saw the world famous ‘Flying Scotsman’ visit for a few weeks too. Swanage Folk Festival
The Folk Festival is one of our busiest weekends of the year when hundreds of folk dancers and groups flock to Swanage for the last big shin dig of the year. Usually hosted on the second weekend of each September. We are lucky enough to host members of the OBJ Morris group from the Bracknell area every year and our daughter becomes an honorary member for the weekend!
