View of Swanage Bay

Swanage Bay

No matter where you see Swanage from it is beautiful. Nestled in the sandy bay on the world famous Jurassic Coast it is a lovely place to visit any time of the year.

Swanage Bay as seen from White Cliff (eastern end of the bay)
Swanage Bay from Townsend Nature Reserve/ Durlston (western side of the bay)

Walking from Millbrook Bed & Breakfast to either of the vantage points above (Whitecliff or Townsend Nature Reserve) is quite easy.

Townsend Nature Reserve is only 10 minutes’ walk from our front door and is a lovely stop off when you are heading off on a walk to Durslton Country Park, Worth Matravers, Dancing Ledge or many other beautiful spots on the Jurassic Coast.

Whitecliff is equally convenient if you are heading off to Old Harry Rocks and Studland, although it will take a little longer to get there, it will take about an hour to walk there, but then just another 20 minutes to see the Old Harry.

East or West, your pick, we love them both equally, either way you should make sure to see these views yourself when you visit Millbrook Bed & Breakfast.
