Yes, absolutely. Call, email or use our ‘Book Online’ options on this website and benefit from the best availability, rates, and cancellation policy than or any other site.

Also by contacting us directly we may be able to offer you nights that may not show on other online travel agents websites or have offers that are only available to direct bookings.

If you are interested to find out more about why OTA’s (Online Travel Agents such as  Booking Dot Com) are not good for our industry then read this article about the unfair practices many Online Travel Agents use which are unfortunately to the detriment of everyone.

Always book directly to benefit from the best cancellation policy. For our standard bookings, the following conditions apply:-

  • If the booking is cancelled 14 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to £20 per room booking will be made.
  • If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before arrival then a charge equal to 25% of the stay will be made.
  • If the booking is cancelled less than 2 days before arrival then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made.

Swanage is a Victorian town and therefore was built when cars were not in the plan. We are lucky enough to have our own off-road parking with space for 6 cars on a first come first served basis, very few Hotels/B&Bs in Swanage can boast better.

This can be found around the rear of Millbrook (please don’t park in next doors car park) and is accessed via Court Road. Millbrook is also in an unrestricted parking area, you can park out the front on Kings Road, or on Court Road as well as other side roads such as Locarno Road (by Launderette).

Deposits can be paid by credit/debit card or bank transfer (account details on request), We regretfully no longer accept cheques.

The remaining balance can be paid by Cash, Credit or Debit card upon arrival or departure.

Check in time is from 4pm until 9pm, check out is up to 10:30.

However, should you arrive earlier you are welcome to park up and ring the bell, if we are in and your room is ready we are more than happy to check you in. If you need to leave early you can settle up the evening before and leave key in an agreed place.

If you are arriving (or leaving) by Public Transport and need to leave cases etc. then please let us know so we can arrange something, we will always do what ever we can to make your arrival and departure as easy as possible.

As much as we love dogs and all other animals we do not accept dogs or any other pets in our guest house.

Yes, absolutely. We do not allow smoking in any of our rooms or guest areas and will ask any guests found to have smoked to leave. However we do have a bench at the front of the house as well as a cigarette bin for smokers to use.

If you need to reduce the length of your stay before you arrive then please contact us. A reduction is treated as a cancellation of the unrequired nights and a reduction cannot be made if it means the duration is less than the ‘Minimum Stay’ at the time of booking, If this is the case then you can either fully cancel (as per the Cancellation Policy) or pay the full amount of the original booking.
