We are very proud of Millbrook and we keep our guest accommodation at the same standard as our own home. Since buying Millbrook in 2013 we have worked our way round the whole house, regularly decorating and tidying where required and carrying out a bigger annual room renovation each year, as well as replacing the roof (the original uninsulated one from 1907!).
This year it was time to completely renovate the ensuite in the Purbeck Suite (Room 4), this involved replastering the walls and ceiling and fitting smart modern shower panels. We’ve completely replaced the furniture (Shower, Shower Screen, Toilet, Sink and Radiator) and fitted new flooring as well as repainting the bedroom. Meaning our best and biggest room (it has a super king bed) has got even better.
We’ve also repainted the breakfast room so that it looks bright and fresh as well as various little jobs in each room to ensure that they are all ready for the new season ahead.
And finally, not forgetting our new ‘Lucky the Lobster’ artwork in the Reception area…
