Another year and another room renovation completed. Our ‘Durlston’ room (Room 3), which is a twin bedroom en-suite on the first floor, has been completely refurbished ready for the 2022 season.
We have totally replaced the en-suite with modern fixtures and fittings, adding a towel radiator, LED mirror with shaver point. We also rerouted all the pipes under the floor, allowing us to remove the need for a step into the shower and fitted a ‘back to wall’ toilet freeing up valuable floor space.
In the bedroom, we have fitted new carpets, replaced the furniture, moved the TV to a better location and redecorated fully. There’s now more drawer space, plenty of hanging space and enough sockets (both power and USB) to plug in and use all your devices.
Plus there’s more, Durlston – Room 2, our most popular room, has been fitted with a new carpet and a new 32″ Samsung Smart TV.
We’ve also replaced the dining tables in preparation for the return to normal breakfast service, the new modern tables smarten up the Breakfast Room and are also pedestal tables, making it easier for everyone to be seated.
