Dancing Ledge

Dancing Ledge and Spyways

If you want a nice days walk whilst staying at Millbrook Guest House then following the Jurassic Coast / South West Coast Path west towards St Aldhelms Head is one of the best walks around here, and we have some good ones!

Whilst not as famous as Durdle Door, and definitely not as busy, it is still one of the jewels in the Jurassic Coast crown. If you walk down to the ledge and its nice there is even a swimming pool carved out of the rocks to cool off in the summer warmth.

This photo was taken from the top, which can be reached by a flat walk through National Trust farmland. Ideal if you don’t want to make a day of it, this makes a lovely afternoon / evening walk, it is only about 20 minutes from Spyways National Trust Car Park, and you are close to the Red Lion Pub in Langton Matravers for a quick drink on your way back.
